Get The Right Angle on Trade Show Booths
When creating a custom trade show booth, it’s easy to get caught up in the proper graphics, accessories and cosmetics, unfortunately many creators miss the obvious characteristics that need to be addressed.
Your trade show booth is on the front lines
It is so tempting to put all of your products, brochures and giveaways on the front line or right beside the isles as people walk by. The down side of this is the public will grab your brochures, your giveaways and walk away without ever stepping foot in your exhibit.
The trick is to bring people into your exhibit. Have a tempting banner out front and a couple of examples, but try to draw people out of the flow and into your exhibit where you have a better chance of talking to them and educating them on your products.
Go Deep with your Trade Show Exhibit
The isle side of your exhibit booth is considered the introduction. It should entice people and make them want to learn more. Once inside it is the depth of your exhibit that will win you new business. As people enter your exhibit, they should proceed to the middle or center section where they will find more information to further entice their interest. Use this area to bring your products to light and make them want to know more. Toward the back of your display, you want to have the big bang effect.
Use monitors with audio video information or a hands on demonstration if possible. You may want to consider having a small table and a few chairs. People love to relax and talk. In addition if you are near the middle to end of the trade show, you will find that people are more willing to take a break if a chair is available. Take advantage of this time and talk to these people. Show them how you are going to make their life easier or more exciting.
Your Exhibit should reach for the stars
When you are signing up to a trade show, check on the height regulations. Most buildings will have commercial ceilings which will allow you to place a banner above your exhibit. This will attract the public’s attention from a further distance and grab their focus early.
Use all of the elements to your advantage when creating a custom trade show booth. Your exhibit should be enticing to the public, remember keep the front lines clean and inviting, use the middle area to further entice your patrons, Go deep and give the big bang effect at the back, use your depth to your advantage and finally reach for the stars and get noticed early.
